    Call for Papers

    In celebration of the 60th birthday of the most Venerable Prof. Dr. Khammai Dhammasami, the Founder and Rector of Shan State Buddhist University, we are pleased to announce a special commemorative publication themed "Dhamma and Vision."

    On 22 November 2024, the most Venerable Prof. Dr. Khammai Dhammasami will reach this significant milestone, and we wish to honor his remarkable contributions with a collection of scholarly works. We invite submissions that reflect on his life and legacy, while also encouraging a wide range of topics related to his inspiring journey.

    Please consider the following suggested themes as a guide for your submissions: Personal experiences and reflections on his teachings and influence.

    ● His tireless efforts in promoting and spreading Buddhism across the globe. Advancements in higher Buddhist education under his visionary leadership. ● Development of new curricula and textbooks for the Pariyatti-saddhammapāla examinations.

    • Establishment of scholarships aimed at supporting educational endeavors. The practice and teaching of mindfulness and Vipassana meditation.

    • Leadership qualities, motivational skills, and their positive impact on the community.

    Organization of summer schools and other innovative educational initiatives.

    We look forward to receiving your contributions as we celebrate this momentous occasion and honor a truly remarkable figure in the world of Buddhism.
